We have had a wonderful week this week celebrating our Mock Election and Red Ribbon Week. Mrs. Sturtevant and Mrs. Leas put an excellent Mock Election together in the library on Tuesday. Mrs. Dale-Hogan, Ms. Laganiere. and Mrs. Nicholson have done some wonderful work with Red Ribbon Week and the RMS Door Decorating Contest. We head into October 31st celebrating Halloween with our Halloween Assembly, and the week ends with a school-wide dance sponsored by the 8th grade class.

Next week begins our first full week in November. We have a teacher workshop day on Tuesday, and an early release on Wednesday. We end the week with our school-wide Veterans Day Assembly.

Don't forget to sign up for the RMS Saturday School on November 16th. We will be in session from 8-11 am. It will be an opportunity for students to work on any interventions or overdue work as we move towards the end of Term A.

Just a heads up that next Friday, 11/1 at 2:00 we will have our Fall Walk. This means we will be shutting down the road behind McClelland at 1:45. Many of your families still park there for pick up so it may cause a rub for some, but wanted you to have a heads up!

We are offering Saturday School on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 8-11 am. This opportunity is for students to catch up on work. It is not an opportunity to get more work assigned. School starts at 8 am at Rochester Middle School. Late arrivals will not be allowed in. Please fill out the student's name, grade, team, and dates your student will attend. Also, please sign acknowledging that you would like your son or daughter to attend. It would be great to leave the best contact number for those dates. Staff does an excellent job planning for these sessions, so it is important that we have accurate numbers and information. Thank you!
