We recommend registering early, as classes fill up FAST!
Policies and Procedures
No Call/No Show Policy
We understand that circumstances can arise that may prevent students from attending their scheduled classes. However, consistent attendance is crucial for the effectiveness of our programs and the learning experience of all participants. Therefore, we have implemented the following policy regarding no call/no show incidents:
If a student misses a class three times without notifying the Voyagers office, the student will be immediately dropped from the class without a refund. To avoid this, please inform us in advance if your student will be absent.
How to Notify Us of an Absence
Call us at (715) 726-2402 or email us at cfsdmsvoy@chipfalls.org.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a productive and enjoyable learning environment for all students.
Refunds and Cancellations
If you enroll for a class and it is canceled, you will be fully refunded. If you cancel your class enrollment 14 days prior to the start of class, you will be fully refunded. If you cancel your class fewer than 14 days before the start of the class, you will not be refunded.
Weather Related Cancellations
If CFAUSD Schools are closed or canceled during the day, all Voyagers After School activities will also be canceled, even if the weather has cleared by the time classes were to start. If school is in session, but the weather looks questionable, parents/guardians will be contacted at their registered phone/email around 1:00 pm if the decision is made to cancel classes.
If classes have to be rescheduled, we will do so according to the instructor's availability.
Class Scheduling
Please make sure to check for overlapping dates when signing your student up for classes. Students are not able to enroll in two classes that are held on the same day. The exception to this rule is ‘Education Station’, which is an ongoing class and may be missed if there are additional classes that the student would like to attend.
Fees
Fees may be assessed for some enrichment classes and field trips. This helps offset the costs associated with certain activities. Please contact the Voyagers office if these fees cause a financial hardship. We may be able to offer a scholarship that will cover the cost of the class for your student. You will be asked to complete a short scholarship form. There are a limited amount of scholarships that are available.
