Riley. The superintendent will be on hand to discuss BWRSD's strategic goals and long term plans and hold an informal Q&A with parents in the Guiteras Gym.
Parent/Teacher Conferences
Conferences will take place on Monday, November 4th from 5:30-6:30pm and on Wednesday November 6th from 3:30-5:30pm.
Picking up Students
Be sure to have your ID with you all year. Your child's teacher may know you, but if there's a substitute in for them months from now, they won't know you. :)
Phone/SmartWatch Policy
Cell Phones/Smart Watches
There is to be absolutely no cell phone or smart watch (or any watch that has communication capabilities) used by students at school. We ask that students do not have phones visible at any point in the school day. If your child has a phone for after school use, it must remain silent in their backpack. Students who violate this by bringing the phone/watch out during the school day will have the device sent to the office for a parent to pick up.
Arrival and Dismissal
Morning Arrival
Arrival of Walkers 8:45 a.m. School starts at 8:55 a.m. Students are considered tardy after 8:55 a.m. Tardy students must go to the main entrance for a late pass. All other doors are locked.
All students that are not taking the bus to school will enter from the back of Guiteras. Parents will park on the street and walk their children into the gated area. Students are not recommended to play outside before school. Students will be greeted by Guiteras Faculty and will walk straight into their classroom where their teacher will be waiting with a smile.
