Hello,

It has been great hearing about the kids' adventures over the break. Whether you stayed home or traveled, I hope you had time to relax and spend time with friends and family.

I wanted to give a big shout-out to our Jr. Coaches. They did a wonderful job today presenting to all classes on the BCE WAY. Please be on the lookout next week for pictures.

You might have noticed we got a cleaned-up and pretty new Boulder Creek Elementary Sign in front of our school. The maintenance department spent time over break fixing it and giving it a facelift. Thank you for helping make our school shine.

We are starting our 21 Days of Kindness Challenge. We will be sending out a separate message with more details. We are excited to have fun with our students and community, spreading kindness over the next 21 days.

Starting January 2025 at BCE Breakfast and Lunch service we will be serving ONLY 1% white milk and fat free white milk cartons.

Students are not required to take a milk but it is offered at each meal.

BCE STEAM Expo February 6 and 7, 2025. Register Here!

Do you love science experiments? Inventing things? Engineering to solve a problem? If so, this is for you! Any student can participate, TK-5th grade. In addition to traditional projects that follow the scientific method or engineering design process, the STEAM Expo invites projects that are demonstrations or inventions/creations that do not necessarily include testing or evaluating for effectiveness. The STEAM Expo enables students to explore their interests and talents by offering different project types and categories from which students can choose, many of which are directly tied to categories represented in California Science and Engineering Fair (CSEF), the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and the Invention Convention.

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this year’s BCE Yearbook unforgettable! Whether you’re a budding photographer, a creative designer, or a detail-oriented organizer, we have a spot for you. Be part of a fun and rewarding experience as we document the highlights of the school year and create a keepsake that everyone will treasure.

Drop Off and Pick Up

We have had several issues the past couple of weeks at both drop off and pick up. Please know that all of us out at the cross walk are only trying to keep our students and families safe. I wanted to remind everyone to please first be Kind and Patient. Here are a few reminders about pick up and drop off

• You can drop off on either side of Laurel Street.
• You can NOT drop off coming up on Lomond street.
• You can only leave your car in designated parking spots on Laurel street.
• Make sure you are not parking in front of our neighbors drive ways
• On Lomond Street, you need to park in the right direction. Buses are not able to get through when cars are away from the side and parked in the wrong direction.
• When walking down Lomond Street please use the sidewalk. We have had a few close calls with kids and parents walking in the center of the street.
