Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

Schools and District Offices are closed Monday, Nov. 25 - Friday, Nov. 29 for Fall Break. Have a wonderful and relaxing break! See you back at school on Monday, Dec. 2. ELP Fall Break Camp information can be found at santeesd.net/ELPCamps.

Please join us for our December Family Night on Wednesday, December 11th.

The Santee School District schools support the Santee Santas Foundation with annual donation drives. This year, we will be collecting only donations and gift cards for local grocery stores in any amount. All donations go directly to families in need with the Santee School District boundaries as grocery gift cards. For more information, please see the attached flyer.

• If we can match last year's dollar amount of $500, Mrs. Hicks will wear a chicken costume at recesses.
• If we raise $1,000, Mrs. Hicks will wear the chicken costume all day and extend student recesses for all students.
• If we raise $1,500, Mrs. Hicks will wear the chicken costume all day while working in the amphitheater/lunch area and extend recesses for all students.

After Thanksgiving Break, starting on Monday, December 2nd, Kindergarten students will be released at the Primary Dismissal Time of 2:20 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause families. If you have any questions, please contact the front office. Thank you!

• Your Feedback Matters! Last year with your help we wrote a new 3-year plan for allocating resources and funding in our district. We are close to halfway through the first year of that plan and want your feedback. The survey is anonymous and takes about 10 minutes to complete. To review the current plan, please visit santeesd.net/LCAP. The survey is open until January 17, 2025.

• The PRIDE Assisting our Community (P.A.C.) Room is open and available to all families in the district. If you are in need of toiletry or household items for any member of your family, please contact PRIDE Academy’s school social worker or make a appointment to visit the P.A.C. Room at https://bit.ly/3yWbH5s.

• The Santee Success Program is looking for volunteers to help keep up and maintain their community garden. Volunteer hours are every Monday from 8 – 10 a.m. Some gardening knowledge is preferred but all are welcome to apply! Email Genesis.lopezcedillo@santeesd.net for more information.

• The Santee School District is now working with WeTip as a crime reporting solution. WeTip provides a completely anonymous reporting solution that gives you a platform to help fight crime, bullying, and other forms of misconduct that you witness. WeTip’s dedicated solution gives you a safe route directly to the right people in the district so we can help uncover and correct any problems or misconduct quickly. To report a crime:
