Citrus Park Families,
As we approach the end of the year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on our accomplishments and share some important updates with you. I am incredibly proud of our students and staff for their hard work and dedication. Our school community continues to thrive because of the strong partnership between parents, teachers, and students. Your support is invaluable, and I encourage you to stay involved in your child's education.
December is a month full of joy and celebration at our school. Teachers have planned various festive activities, including our Winter Concert on December 16th. These activities are designed to bring our school community together and spread holiday cheer.
Alongside the festive activities, we also have important testing periods coming up. Our state testing has started and will continue until December 13th. It's crucial for students to balance their time between enjoying the festivities and preparing for their assessments. Please encourage your children to stay focused and be present and on time every day.

We love celebrating our students' birthdays! However, to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, we ask that birthday celebrations in school be limited to cupcakes or cookies only. Teachers are given a quick time to pass out the treats, and we kindly request no balloons or party-like decorations. This helps us manage allergies and dietary restrictions more effectively. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

I will like to further extend the opportunity for your 5th grade families who may not have made a decision yet or have heard about our program to stop by our open house this coming Tuesday, December 10th from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Our teachers and students are excited to open our doors and show our beautiful campus.
