- Cyber Patriots: All teams are officially registered for the competition, with a new one added at the last second (There are a couple of spots on these teams still open if your child is interested in competing). We are still looking for sponsors to help fund the registration fees for our three teams that will have a registration fee. Each team’s registration fee is $225. If you know of anyone willing to help out, please have them reach out to Mr. Greg Hiett (gregory.hiett@boerneisd.net). We have a couple of weeks before the registration fees are due.
- Past Advisory Board Meeting Notes: The first Cyber PTECH Advisory Board meeting was held on September 25th, 2024 at the CHS library. The members present discussed the vision for the program, identified the need to teach students about the NICE framework and to get their feedback to help identify guest speakers aligned to their interests, and identified potential field trips and site visits to engage students.
- Upcoming Advisory Board Meeting: The next Cyber PTECH Advisory Board Meeting is going to be scheduled for Wednesday October 30th at CHS in the library from 6:30-8:00pm. We invite any individuals interested in helping to grow the program, especially those in cyber security or IT, to this meeting.
