Summer ELA Enrichment Grades 9-12
Bishop Kearney is offering an enrichment program for English Language Arts this summer. This is an excellent opportunity to boost a student's skills in reading, writing, and literacy overall in a more focused and personalized setting. If English is a subject that is challenging for a student, we highly recommend they attend this program to prepare them for the future years of high school and beyond. We will be assisting students with their summer reading assignments, reviewing where they struggled in prior years, and helping to grow their confidence with the fundamentals of English class. The program will run from July 8th to August 15th , Mondays- Thursdays from 9-11am in the Student Union. There is no cost for this program. If you have specific questions, please contact Mr. Guglielmino- cguglielmino@bkhs.org

2024 Youth Agriculture Leadership Conference
Hi all,
Governor Kathy Hochul announced today that applications are now open for New York’s first-ever collaborative youth agriculture leadership conference.
The 2024 Youth Agriculture Leadership Conference is an opportunity for youth from 4-H, MANRRS, and FFA to connect and learn together. It will be this fall, November 13-14, 2024 in Albany. Youth in grades 11 and 12 will gather to envision a future for NY’s agriculture and food system that is sustainable, innovative and equitable. The conference will provide young leaders the opportunity to connect with state leaders to better understand how policy shapes interconnected food, agriculture and natural resource systems.
Who are the young ag leaders you know? I hope you consider inviting them to apply for this opportunity!
Learn more on the conference website and this FAQs page. Youth are encouraged to apply by July 15.
Let me know if I can answer any questions. Thank you!
