OVHS Weekly Announcements

Jostens will be here Wednesday, October 9th during both lunches to help answer questions and collect payment for class rings, announcements, cap and gown orders. Orders can be turned in early to the drop box in the office.

Parent Teacher Conference will be Wednesday, October 16th. This is an open format, no appointment needed. Conferences are from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the commons.

We will have Early Release October 14 - 17, 2024. Students will be dismissed at 1:10 p.m.

There will be no school next Friday, October 18, 2024 for Staff Professional Development.

The 2024 Yearbook is available for pickup! Graduates can pick their yearbooks up in the office.

A very limited number of yearbooks are available for those who did not purchase last year. The cost is $60.

OVHS is going to Craig's Cruisers for the day in Grand Rapids. If you are interested, permission slips are in the A100 Pod. Money and permission slips need to be turned in to Mrs. Millis in room A103 by Friday, Oct. 4th. Seats are limited. This trip will take place on October 18th.

Please take a moment to review the following policies.

• All students must be out of the building at 2:35 p.m. (normal) or 1:25 p.m. (early release) unless they are with staff or a coach.

• Students from other buildings are not allowed in the building to wait for siblings. They must wait outside.

• Any student found in the building after 2:35 p.m. or 1:25 p.m. unsupervised will be escorted out of the building. If you are caught in person or discovered later on video in the building, you will be subject to disciplinary action including but not limited to detention, ISS, OSS, or a trespassing ticket from Muskegon Township Police Department.

• Students who let other students into the building or prop doors will also be subject to disciplinary action.
