ACT / MCA SCHEDULE - TUESDAY (4/8)
Bring your school-issued Chromebook fully charged!
Testing locations are posted in the Commons.
Be in your assigned classroom by 8:30 AM.
Tardy students WILL NOT be admitted to the test; no exceptions will be made.
Juniors ā ACT
- Bring your school-issued Chromebook fully charged!
- It is the studentās responsibility to bring an approved calculator and ensure it is on the ACT-approved list. You can also use the calculator provided by the online test.
- Bring multiple pencils.
Sophomores - MCA Reading
- Bring your school-issued Chromebook fully charged!
- Breakfast & Lunch:
- Breakfast will be available at 8:00 AM. Lunch will be available at 12:45 PM.
Transportation
- Morning buses will run their normal routes and times and end-of-day buses will depart at the regular time.
STUDENT PARKING - NO PERMIT = FINE
Attention students and parents: There is absolutely no student parking on campus without a permit. All students parking on campus need to either have a parking permit, or a daily permit. Daily permits can be purchased for the following week on Fridays before 8:00 AM. Cost is $2.00 a day. There are only 15 permits available and are first come first serve.
If you park without a permit you will be fined:
- First offense - $2.00
- Second offense - $25.00
- Third offense - $50.00
- Fourth offense - Boot and/or tow

CCC - SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The MN Trades Academy is a paid 8-week summer construction internship from June 16-August 7. Interns will receive an introduction to various career paths in the construction and building trades industry including carpentry, pipefitting, electrical work, and beyond. The internship is open to high school students ages 16-21 who are eager to explore construction as a potential career. Apply by Wednesday (4/16) by scanning the QR code or visiting Mrs. Hendrickson in the CCC.

BEST BUDDIES 2025-2026
Are you interested in participating in Best Buddies at MVHS for the 2025-2026 School Year? Opportunities are available to build friendship and make peer connections through group events as an associate member and 1:1 buddy pairings as a Peer Buddy. Leadership positions are also available as a Chapter President, Vice President, or Communications Director, or in taking the lead of planning our annual events like Turkey Bingo, the Day of Belonging, and the Buddy Walk.

CAREER & COLLEGE CENTER (CCC)
HOW TO JOIN NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
National Honor Society (NHS) applications are now open for 10th/11th grade students that have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.6 or higher. Students that meet this GPA qualification were sent an email with directions on how to apply. The deadline for submitting the application is Friday (5/2).
Any student currently not meeting GPA requirements in 10th or 11th grade will be eligible to apply in June should their GPA increase to a 3.6 or higher at the end of this school year.
