Important--Juniors and Seniors Off Campus Lunch
Important- Off Campus Lunch for Juniors and Seniors Spring Semester
All Juniors and Seniors will need to requalify for off campus lunch for the spring semester.
To qualify, students must:
- not have any unexcused absences for the fall semester.
- not have more than four absences in any one class for the fall semester.
- be passing all classes.
- have a new permission slip on file
New stickers for off campus lunch will be distributed the week of January 10th before school only.
Dress Code--Important
Please remember from the assemblies today:
Leggings can only be worn with a long shirt or dress that covers your bottom area.
No holes are allowed above your knees.
Facial piercings are not allowed.
Hair should not be unconventionally colored.
Midriffs are not allowed.
Skirts must be less than four inches above the knee.
Attention-- Dual Credit
If you plan to enroll in a dual credit course for the 2022-2023 school year, and this will be your first time taking a dual credit class, you will need to create an Apply Texas application. If you are currently enrolled in a Dual Credit course, you do NOT need to submit a new application.
Please note, if you skipped a year, a new application will need to be submitted. HCHS will begin Dual Credit presentations to students in January.

Final Exam Exemptions
For all students (6th -12th) in courses earning high school credit--
1. The student must have 3 or fewer absences for the second semester excluding school business absences in the exempted course.
2. If the course is a full-year course, the student must have passed the first semester.
3. The student's final average for the spring semester is 80 or higher.
4. The student's conduct grade in that class is "S" or better.
5. The student must attend during the scheduled exam time.
