The Delaware Diamonds Book Award has been in Delaware schools for over 30 years. It’s a statewide program where students pick, on an annual basis, award winners in grade level categories (Kindergarten-2nd Grade, Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-12). This program is designed to help young readers in Delaware become better acquainted with some of the quality literature available in recently published books and to promote reading as a lifelong joy.
