As we head into the final week before Spring Break, I want to thank you for your continued support and involvement.

This week, we officially kicked off our PTO Fundraiser for the upcoming Color Run, scheduled for Friday, May 2, 2025. We hope you will consider contributing—funds raised will directly benefit our students and school community.

We also have a full week of exciting activities planned for our students. Please be sure to review this week’s newsletter for all upcoming events and important details.

Saluda Trail Middle School...Where You Will Experience Excellence Without Excuse!

We are proud to celebrate Emily Mann, a gifted 6th grade creative writing student at Saluda Trail Middle School, who has been named an award recipient in the 12th Annual Literary Competition hosted by the Arts Council of York County!

Emily’s original poem, “Snowflake from the Sky,” stood out among many entries and has earned her recognition for her creative voice and artistic expression.

As part of this exciting honor, Emily is invited to attend the Award Ceremony and Public Reading on Thursday, April 10, 2024, from 5:30–7:30 PM at the Center for the Arts, located at 121 E. Main St., Rock Hill, SC. Her poem will be read aloud.

At the ceremony, Emily will also find out whether she has placed first, second, or third in her division.

We are so proud of her and look forward to cheering her on!

In addition, her winning piece is published in the April issue of Life in the Hill magazine, giving our community a chance to experience her beautiful work.

Way to go, Emily—your Wildcat family is cheering you on every step of the way!

All 7th and 8th graders need to return their band polo unless they own their own. If it is lost or damaged, they are $20 to replace so either bring the polo or $20.
