💛 Message from the Principal 💛
One of the most important aspects of a successful school community is open communication. We cannot address concerns or solve problems unless we know about them. Whether it’s an issue in the classroom, a challenge with peers, or something happening outside of school, it’s crucial that students feel comfortable reaching out to a trusted adult. This could be a parent, teacher, counselor, or any administrator on campus. We are here to listen, support, and help find solutions, but we need to be informed to take the necessary steps.
I encourage parents to check in regularly with their children about how things are going at school. For students, remember that it's always okay to ask for help. Keeping concerns to yourself or bottling up feelings often makes things harder, but when we communicate, we can work together to create a more positive and supportive environment for everyone. We are all here to ensure your success, but we can only help if we know what’s going on. Let’s keep the lines of communication open! You got this, Vikings!!
I'm excited to resume Music Monday this week! 🎶 Will your advisory be the winner?!? 😉
Let's make it a great week, Vikings!! 💛

The Great California Shakeout - Thursday, Oct. 17th
This Thursday, during Advisory, we will be joining the rest of the state in the largest earthquake drill of the year...The Great California Shakeout! While some areas of California are more likely to have earthquakes than others, all of California is at higher risk compared to the rest of the country. You could be anywhere when an earthquake strikes: at home, at work, at school, or even on vacation, so it's important to take the drills seriously and learn what you should do!
