Dolphin News You Can Use
Volume 23: Nov. 11th - Nov. 15th
Principal's Message
Hello Dickinson Families!
This past week we celebrated Veteran's Day. Our students got to watch our third graders perform. A huge shout out to Mr. Ford, specials team, and third grade teachers for all of their hard work. The program was a huge success and I couldn't be more proud of our dolphins! Happy Veteran's Day to all who served.
This Tuesday, November 12th we will be hosting our Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon with our students. During this time we decorate the cafeteria and students watch a short Thanksgiving film while eating. As a friendly reminder, the school is closed to lunch visitors on this day. Thank you for your understanding as we enjoy this special time with our students.
This week we begin our Thanksgiving food drive. Please read below for more details.
Benchmark testing continues all week. Please be sure our students are getting lots of rest and eat a good breakfast on those testing days.
Cooler weather is on it's way, yay! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
If you have any concerns or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Warm Regards,
Channon Almendarez

The culture of Dickinson Elementary includes a partnership with our community. Last year, our parents volunteered hundreds of hours to support our students and staff. We value our partnership as together we educate our dolphins. This year all volunteers are required to register as a volunteer. This includes PTO Board Members, work room volunteers, Watch Dog Dad volunteers, room parents, field day volunteers, library volunteers, and the list continues! Please visit this website to begin the process:
