Happy New Year, IN-FBLA! This issue is about all of the exciting upcoming FBLA events. As our returning members know, this is the busy season where all of the hard work and dedication our local chapters have put in is realized and recognized as we celebrate FBLA week and get ready for SLC.
Your state student board and staff have been working diligently to plan, organize, and provide the most fun and valuable state leadership conference possible and we look forward to enjoying it with all of you in March.

State Leadership Conference
The Indiana State Leadership Conference (SLC) will be on March 14th-16th at the Horizon Convention Center in Muncie, Indiana. Please check the state website, reach out to your adviser, or contact us with any questions you may have. SLC is packed full of competitive events, networking opportunities, fun and unique experiences, socializing, and a place to celebrate all of the progress you've made this year. On top of that, we are excited to unveil some changes this year that we hope all of our members will enjoy!
Next year's SSB will be announced on the final day of SLC. If you are interested in getting involved at the state level and helping organize all of the great events for next year, please fill out the application posted on the state website homepage.

Cason Oaks
Cason is serving as the 2024-2025 Vice President of Membership. Currently a senior at Peru High School, he is in his second year of FBLA and is also the President of his local chapter. Outside of FBLA, he is involved in bowling, ministry, and has competed as a Science Olympiad. He plans to go to college after graduation and aim his studies in a business-related field.
