SkillsUSA National Signing Day is a nationwide celebration showcasing our next generation of skilled professionals and the skilled career paths that have been, are and always will be essential to America’s future. Each May, local SkillsUSA chapters are encouraged to host a National Signing Day event and invite industry partners, administrators, teachers, elected officials, SkillsUSA alumni, family and friends to honor students as they sign letters of intent for a job offer, apprenticeship or advanced technical training. Lovington High School held a SkillsUSA signing day event on May 7, 2024. The images below highlight those signing with post-secondary or industry partners. Congratulations Lovington SkillsUSA.

Our athletes are working hard at a chance at State Championships. Keep pushing forward Wildcats!

Graduation will be held at the Lea County Event Center in Hobbs, NM on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Security will be present, all bags will be searched and individuals will be required to pass through metal detectors.

Doors will open at 1:00 PM.

Graduation will start promptly at 3:00 PM

The following items will not be allowed in the facility:

• Weapons

• Fatheads

• Posters

• Balloons

• Noisemakers

• Signs

• Silly String

• Confetti

Individuals may be asked to leave the facility if the above-mentioned items are brought into or used within the facility. Please join us in creating an environment that honors our graduates and all that they have accomplished.

Lovington Schools will be providing all school supplies for students in grades K-5 except a backpack and all school supplies for grades 6-8 including a clear backpack. High school students will be required to provide their own supplies as requirements vary by class.
