Weekly Newsletter
Week of October 7th
Dear Families,
We’re thrilled by the outpouring of support by our St. Joe’s Bears at Trinity High School sporting events. We ask our parents to be mindful of the fact that they are responsible for monitoring their students at any Trinity High School events. Looking forward to the upcoming homecoming game on Saturday, October 5th! I also hope to see a strong showing of our Bears at Food for Children on Saturday.
Quarter 1 progress reports were sent via RenWeb on Wednesday, October 2nd. The progress report provides a quick snapshot of student progress in academics, effort, and conduct at the midpoint of the quarter. The progress report does not impact honor roll or eligibility for athletics and extracurricular activities.
The rubrics for conduct and effort grades can be found in the appendices at the end of the Parent-Student Handbook.
Quarter 1 ends on Friday, November 1st.
On September 25th, Mrs. Brewitt sent information home about the PowersAid fundraiser leading up to our PowersAid Walk on October 24th. See Mrs. Brewitt’s correspondence for more information.

Blazers
It’s almost blazer time! The blazer season officially begins on October 16th. Everyone needs to be wearing a blazer for Mass on that day. The school has a limited number of blazers to loan to students. The blazers will be in Mrs. Martineau’s room (216). If your student is interested in borrowing a blazer, have them come visit for a fitting. Again, limited supply, limited sizes so first come, first served.
Please note that all the blazers were packed in the summer and will all need to be dry-cleaned before the student can wear it. They all still have that “traveled” look.

Ms. Feren will be collecting the donations in her office.
