SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR - NOVEMBER 11-15📚
We are so excited about our Book Fair this week. All classrooms have had a chance to Preview the book fair and create wish lists. Starting tomorrow, they can begin purchasing books. Each class has an assigned time when they can buy books tomorrow or Thursday. We also have some additional shopping events outside of the school day which are listed below.
Cash-free Shopping Option: Students may bring cash or, if you prefer a cashless method for your child, please sign-up for eWallet here: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/D47West.

- 11/11-11/12: Classroom Preview Days
- 11/13, 8AM-8:45AM: Grand Event (students are welcome to shop with their grandparent(s) or someone "grand" in their life.
- 11/13: Student Shopping (Bott, Coelho, Fitzgerald, Gaede, Green, Hall, Heileman, Jaconetti, Osbeck, Rogers, Winsor)
- 11/14: Student Shopping (Andrisani, Baldini, Dowell, Gardner, Mulcahy, O'Donnell, Penuela, Primus, Rivera, Stock, Whiting, Wolf)
- 11/14: Family Night (Decorated sugar cookies will be sold in support of Share the Fair* - cash only)
- 11/15: Last minute shopping and Clean-up
*Share the Fair: Proceeds directly benefits students at West.

Progress reports will be posted on November 20th. An email will be sent when they are available for viewing on that day.
Family Library PJ Night - November 21
Community Harvest Food Drive
Wildcat Council is kicked off their first fall project. We are supporting the Community Harvest Food Drive through the Crystal Lake Food Pantry. We will be collecting non-perishable items until November 22nd! Please send non-perishable items in with your students. Click here to see a list of the most wanted items.. Thank you!
Lost and Found
Please have your students check the lost and found during lunch. Also, parents please chech the lost and found during Parent/Teacher Conferences. Our lost and found bin is already overflowing with stuff. We will have a table set up in the hallway outside of the front office. Please make sure to take a look.
WINTER PARTY SIGNUP

West Family Day with the Windy City Bulls - Sunday, December 15
Come out and join West families & friends for a day of fun at a Windy City Bulls Basketball game. All attendees will be seated together in the same section. Doors open at 1:00 pm and the game starts at 2:00 pm. A flyer will come home with your child next week with more information on ordering tickets. Information will also be available on the West Parents Facebook page later this week. *Deadline to order tickets is Noon on Sunday, December 8th.

The Salvation Army Angel Tree Toyland program helps provide Christmas Gifts to low-income families with children up to 16 years of age.Please call 815-455-2769 to locate a Christmas Assistance program near you outside of our service area.
