Senior Scholarship Update

For a student from a military family pursuing a post-secondary education. Must be a direct dependent of a currently serving service member or veteran. Min GPA 2.3, accepted to a college or university, write an essay. Award amount $1000.

Emberg Scholarships are for high school seniors or graduates of high schools throughout Northeastern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin and going to NE MN and NW WI schools (MN North Itasca & Hibbing are on the list). Apply now

Affinity Plus Foundation Scholarships will be available for Credit Union Members going to a partner college: Bemidji State University, Lake Superior College, MN State University Mankato, MN State University Moorhead, St Cloud State University, U of MN Twin Cities or Winona State University. Awards are $4,000

Deadline is May 31.

(3) $1000 scholarships to area graduates attending any post-high school education program (college, university, tech school, etc)

Hibbing Lodge of Perfection Scholarship Application

Grand Rapids Public Utilities customers can apply for the Tom Bovitz Memorial Scholarship (4 scholarships ($500, $1000, $1500 and $2000). These scholarships are sponsored by MN Municipal Utilities Association. Students should fill out the application and send it and the essay to Grand Rapids Public Utilities, 500 SE 4th St, Grand Rapids, MN 55744 no later than April 10th to be considered.
