A Note From the Principal
Dear Lebanon Parents and Guardians,
In this month of thankfulness, I wanted to share an email I received last weekend. It was from a Forest Park police officer who worked the football game @ Winton Woods last Friday. I think the email speaks for itself:
To Whom it May Concern,
Good morning, my name is Greg Stidd and I am a sergeant with the City of Forest Park. I worked the football game this past Friday of Lebanon v Winton Woods. I just wanted to send a quick note to let you know that you as administrators should be proud of the young men of your varsity football team. I was standing near one of the exits as the game had ended and as the Lebanon players were exiting the field, I had three different players walk up to me wanting to shake my hand thanking me for my service.
I know it may not seem like much of anything but having this unprovoked gesture come from these young men was nice to hear. I did not get their names and it really does not matter but they are a great reflection of your community. These young men are obviously being raised with respect and values at home, at school and on the field. I just thought you should know this about your team and coaches, how well they represent Lebanon.
The actions of these young men make me proud and honored to be principal of Lebanon High School. They are credits to our families, our school, and our community. It is moments like this that make me profoundly grateful every day that I am part of Lebanon High School. Thank you for the amazing young people you send to us every day.
Take care, stay safe and healthy, and…Happy Thanksgiving!

LHS Student Highlights
LHS Commended Students
Last October, 3.7 million students took the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT). Each year the National Merit Scholarship Corporation selects 50,000 students who scored highest on the test. The top 16,000 are then chosen to compete to be National Merit Semifinalists. The remaining 34,000 high scorers receive Letters of Commendation in recognition of their outstanding academic promise. This year, we are proud that three seniors have been named National Merit Commended Students! They are:
Wesley Holdcraft- Wesley is the son of Laura and Robert Holdcraft. He plans to attend The Ohio State University and major in Computer Science and Engineering.
Bryson Pursell- Bryson is the son of Katherine and Bryson Pursell. He is currently deciding between Purdue or Miami University and plans to major in Data Science.
Vivian Repka- Vivian is the daughter of Lainie Lewis and Steve Repka. She is undecided about her university, but plans to major in Astrophysics.
They were honored during halftime of the Oct. 4th home game against Milford.
IT shows off at UC!
The IT students went to UC to talk about career paths in the field of information technology, take a tour of campus, talk to a financial aid director, and get to know the School of IT at UC. A panel of Lebanon alum took time out of their studies to answer our questions and share their experiences at UC.

Thank You for Supporting Our Staff at Parent-Teacher Conferences!
At the opening of our Parent-Teacher Conferences, the LHS Social Committee organized a delicious meal for the staff, made possible by generous donations from Lavish, Friends of Academics, and Four Paws Animal Hospital. A special thank you to individual parents from the Friends of Academics Organization for contributing homemade desserts, adding a sweet finishing touch. Your support is greatly appreciated—thank you!

PARENTS: GET INVOLVED WITH FRIENDS OF ACADEMICS
Friends of Academics (FOA) acknowledges student academic accomplishments via awards, luncheons, and scholarships. To contribute to these achievement recognitions, kindly consider making a donation to FOA through their Venmo account @lhs-foa. Over the summer, approximately 100 senior students creatively decorated their parking spaces to show support for FOA.
