Most people hear "Virtual School" and imagine a kid in pajamas, half-listening on Zoom with TikTok open in one hand. But for me, virtual school isn't about laziness. It's about finally being able to tell my story, not just write it down for a grade.

Let me rewind for a second.

Before I Enrolled in Highpoint, school felt like something I had to survive, not something I could enjoy. My name is Stori, and to be honest, I never felt like I had a space to be myself, but when I started at High Point, everything changed.

I had time to become the best version of myself. Highpoint gives me the tools. I'm not just another student ID number or a test score. I'm Stori, a girl who creates endlessly, dreams big, and has something to say.

The teachers at High Point see me. They cheer me on, and that feels real, not rehearsed. I've had check-ins where we talk about life goals, and growth- not just graded. I've submitted projects that felt more like passions of pieces I'm proud of than homework. And even though we're online I've built friendships that go deeper than just who's sitting next to you in class.

Celebrating 25 years of K12 means celebrating the students like me who have finally found who they are. Highpoint and K12 didn't just help me learn, they helped me grow into someone I'm proud of.

Because I'm not just writing an essay.

I'm writing my story.
