Reminder that all traffic should be entering the Spring Street Parking lot from Spring Street and exiting towards the High School towards Howard Street. Please DO NOT exit on to Spring Street. This will ensure all traffic flows in the same direction. Thank you!!
Raising Multicultural Kids Program
Dear Families,
I am excited to announce West Bridgewater’s partnership with Raising Multicultural Kids. Raising Multicultural Kids is an education based non-profit that helps schools diversify staff and curriculum. We will be hosting their Diversity in Classroom Leadership and Literature program this year in which one of their Diversity Leaders will be coming into the classroom to read multicultural books to the students. Students will have 10 visits throughout the year from their Diversity Leader and engage with books that feature different people, cultures, languages, socioeconomic status, abilities and family structures. Books are followed by a fun art or cultural activity. See the attached flyers to read more about the program and your child’s Diversity Leaders.
Halloween Parade Fun!
Thank you MSHS Varsity Captains for visiting SSS!
School Improvement Council
We are looking for parent volunteers to be part of our Spring Street School Improvement Council. If you have a child at the school, please consider being part of the continuous effort to improve our school. Community input is needed in determining the direction of education for our young people. Meetings generally last an hour or less and take place after school. It is a good way to be involved in the improvement of our school.
Please reach out to Mrs. Ellis at mellis@wbridgewater.com if interested.
Kindergarten visited the WBPD
The Kindergarteners learned about the role of Police Officers in the community and how they keep us safe and see the inside of the Police Station and Police Cruiser! Thank you Officer Packard!
Fire Safety Day!
Thank you for Lt. Lynds for coming to Spring Street School and teaching all about fire safety. The kids even got to spray the fire hose!
