A MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
It's Fall Y'all
Dear Arrow Family,
I hope you are enjoying this great weather with your family and friends. October is National Principals Month! Please help me celebrate our principals as we recognize their commitment to a high quality education for all of our scholars and a positive and productive working environment for our staff. Arrow Academy is blessed to have this dynamic group of inspiring campus leaders. The next time you see your principal, join me in saying, “Thank You” for their dedication and passion to lead others. #NationalPrincipalsMonth!
Early voting has kicked off in our surrounding communities and I encourage you to get out and vote so that your voice is heard. Likewise, our scholars will participate in a mock election at their campuses as part of the Kids Pick the President campaign series that is produced by Nickelodeon. Arrow Scholars will cast their vote for the next president of the United States. Since 1988, Kids Pick the President has accurately predicted the winner of each election with the sole exceptions of the 2004 and 2016 presidential races. We can’t wait to see what the results will be in Arrowland!
Arrow Parents, academic success is a shared responsibility with our families and our schools. Please log in to Skyward on October 23, 2024 to view your scholars’ report card. Thank you for making Arrow Academy your school of choice!

Arrow Academy Celebrates National Principals Month
Kids Pick The President
As part of Nickelodeon’s Kids Pick the President campaign series, scholars will participate in a fun and educational mock election at their campuses. This exciting event gives scholars the opportunity to learn about the election process, explore the importance of voting, and cast their ballots for the next president. This hands-on experience helps inspire future leaders by engaging them in civic responsibilities early on. Let’s see who our scholars choose to lead the nation!
Get Out and Vote!
Indigenous Peoples' Day
Indigenous Peoples' Day is a time for scholars to learn about the rich history, cultures, and contributions of Native peoples. It encourages awareness of Indigenous perspectives and the importance of respecting their ongoing presence in our communities. By celebrating this day, we foster understanding, inclusivity, and appreciation for the diversity that shapes our world.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, scholars wore pink to raise awareness and show support for those affected by the disease. The initiative emphasized the importance of early detection and health education. By participating, scholars helped promote compassion and unity within the school community.
Red Ribbon Week
This year's Red Ribbon Week theme, "Life Is A Movie, Film Drug Free," encourages scholars to make healthy, drug-free choices. Through activities and discussions, scholars will learn about the dangers of substance abuse and the value of living a positive, drug-free lifestyle. The theme empowers everyone to take control of their own story and create a bright, healthy future.
Attendance Counts!
The Arrow Family misses you when you are not here with us! When our scholars attend school daily, they will perform better academically and socially!
