Jefferson Elementary
June 6th, 2024
It was a great year!
As we close out our 2023-2024 school year, we celebrate all the milestones our students have accomplished with the support of all the caring adults within our school community and beyond. Many special events were planned to commemorate the closure of the school year. Classroom transformations, kickball games, and field trips culminated in a bubble send-off into summer! We wish all our Jaguars a safe and happy summer. We can't wait to welcome you back in the fall!
Jaguar Mural
5th Graders add their "mark" to our Jefferson Jaguar mural. This year's 5th graders became the 2nd class to add to this Jefferson tradition that will visually remind our Jaguars they will always be a part of our Jefferson community.
Bring a Pet!
Many of our 2nd graders have been bringing in a special pet to tell their classmates all about. It was a great opportunity for our second graders to practice their public speaking skills as well as show off a special pet to their peers.
Reading Rock Stars
These Jaguars were nominated for the GRIT in their reading skills~ kuddos for your stamina and growth in reading!!!
JAMMIN JAGS
These students were nominated for demonstrating their JAGS in our community space. We are so proud of our Jaguars for showing expected behaviors in our learning space!

Jefferson Spring Carnival Delights All!
We're thrilled to report that this year's spring carnival was an incredible success! Thanks to the extraordinary efforts of our dedicated PTO and Jefferson staff, the event was a true celebration of community spirit and fun.
From the moment families stepped onto the carnival grounds, they were greeted with an atmosphere brimming with nostalgia and excitement. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure that this year's carnival captured the essence of this traditional springtime celebration.
Games of skill and chance lined the pathways, offering thrills and challenges for attendees of all ages. Laughter filled the air as families tried their luck at winning prizes and creating lasting memories together.
And what's a carnival without delicious treats? From classic cotton candy to savory snacks, there was something to satisfy every craving. The scent of popcorn and the sweet aroma of freshly spun cotton candy wafted through the air, adding to the festive ambiance.
But perhaps the most magical aspect of the carnival was the sense of togetherness it fostered among our Jefferson community. Parents, students, and staff came together to enjoy an afternoon of laughter, camaraderie, and shared joy.
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this year's spring carnival such a resounding success. Whether you volunteered your time, donated supplies, or simply attended and enjoyed the festivities, your support helped to create cherished memories for our Jefferson families.
As we look back on this year's carnival with fondness, we're already eagerly anticipating next year's event. Until then, let's carry the spirit of community and celebration with us as we continue to learn, grow, and thrive together at Jefferson Elementary.
