As we enter the last quarter of the school year, we want to take a moment to reflect on the progress we've made and look ahead to the end of the year. This quarter is all about staying focused, finishing strong, and making the most of every learning opportunity. Whether you're gearing up for final projects, preparing for assessments, or wrapping up key lessons, we're here to support you every step of the way.

π Live Meeting Timesπ
A reminder that we have live meetings every school day. This is a time for students to ask questions and get help from their core teachers. Students who attend these meetings do extremely well academically. To access any of our live meeting times, students can click on the blue help button in their Canvas course or access the link provided by their elementary teachers. We hope your student will take advantage of these opportunities so we can help your child succeed!

Grades K4 & K5: 10:00 AM
Grade 1: 10:30 AM
Grade 2: 10:00 AM
The Morning Meeting is a daily virtual meeting with synchronous learning. The meet includes: sharing time, skills practices, story time, movement activities, and fluency drills. There is also a preview of the dayβs activities. More importantly, a sense of community is established through this meeting.
β½Intermediate Elementaryβ½
Grade 3: 10:30 AM
Grade 4: 11:00 AM
Grade 5: 11:00 AM
The Check-in and Chat is a daily virtual meeting with synchronous learning. There is a greeting and chat time. Questions from the assigned lessons are reviewed with an opportunity to practice skills and get support. The daily lesson is also discussed. Students have an opportunity to interact with peers in a structured school setting.

Grade 6: 11:30 AM
Both 6th grade teachers are online to support English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies courses.
β½Middle-High Schoolβ½
Grades 7-12
9:30 AM β 1:30 PM
Core Support-All five secondary teachers are available to support English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies courses.
β½Resource Room - All Grade Levelsβ½
12:30 PM β 2:30 PM
The ROC Special Education Department hosts a daily virtual Resource Room meeting space for our special education students. Support for all subjects is available during this time.
β½On Demand Academic Coachingβ½
Virtual academic coaching is available each school day from 8:00 am β 7:00 pm by calling

π Staff Spotlight π
Mrs. McGill
Mrs. McGill is a graduate of Titusville Area High School and Clarion University. She has been with ROC for three years, currently serving as its secretary. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her adult children and husband. Her favorite vacation spot is Maine, where she loves beachcombing for sand dollars and enjoying seafood.
Mrs. Corklin
Mrs. Corklin has been a special education teacher for five years, and is passionate about creating a supportive learning environment for her students. She earned her undergraduate degree from Clarion University and went on to complete a master's in online education, which has given her the skills to adapt her teaching to a virtual setting. Outside of teaching, Mrs. Corklin loves spending time with her family which reminds her of the importance of connection and support.
Dr. Sawtelle
Dr. Sawtelle was born and raised in Harborcreek Pennsylvania. She went to Clark Elementary and Harborcreek High School. She played french horn for the Harborcreek Marching Huskies from 1980 through 1984. She has fond memories of the band competitions and awards. After high school, she went to Clarion University and graduated in 1988 with a BS in Chemistry. That same year she married her best friend and moved to Boston where she earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry at Boston College. Doc and her husband have been married for 37 years this July. Doc's passions include Science, her students, pets, and husband.
Mr. McGaughey
Mr. McGaughey is one of the administrators for the Rockets Online Campus. He is also the Assistant Superintendent for the Titusville Area School District. Mr. McGaughey has worked in various positions including a teacher of a middle level Disruptive Youth Program in Maryland, a behavior, school-based mental health and residential therapist and an administrator in various Alternative Education, Partial Hospitalization, and residential Campus School Programs. At the Titusville Area School District, Mr. McGaughey has taught and coordinated the alternative education programs, was an assistant principal at Titusville High School, a principal of Titusville Middle School, and the Special Education Director for the district. In 2020, Mr. McGaughey was promoted to the Assistant Superintendent for the Titusville Area School District and has been an administrator for the Rockets Online Campus.
Mrs. Lesh
Mrs. Lesh is in her fourth year with Rockets Online Campus. With 8 years of teaching experience in Yuma, AZ along with other districts in Pennsylvania, and a strong passion for supporting mental health, Mrs. Lesh has brought a wealth of knowledge and compassion to our community. She is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive environment for her students and is always going the extra mile to ensure their well-being. When sheβs not working with students, sheβs busy at home with her five dogs and her husband, embracing the joy (and the chaos). Weβre happy to have her as part of our Rockets Online Campus team!
Miss McHenry
Miss McHenry is a fourth-year teacher at Rockets Online Campus. Before she began working in Titusville, Miss McHenry graduated from Keystone High School in her hometown of Knox, and got her bachelorβs degree from Slippery Rock University. She is currently working on getting a masterβs degree in Library Science. Aside from being an educator, Miss McHenry is also an avid reader, a cat lover, a pop culture nerd, and she enjoys playing video games (even if she isnβt very good at them).

Every quarter, ROC recognize students who have earned a minimum of 90% or higher in all classes. These students are dedicated to their school work, have strong organizational skills and a determination to be successful. We are extremely proud of each of our ROC Star Students.
