Jaguar Journal
May 2024 Edition
Dear Jaguar Families,
Students and staff at Jepson Middle School are enjoying the spring season, with its exciting activities and annual cherished events, as we approach the end of the school year. Our counselors and teachers are busy supporting and inspiring our students, helping our 8th graders prepare for high school, and coordinating a smooth transition for our incoming Jaguars.
We sincerely appreciate our generous and dedicated PTC leaders---Heather Santopadre, Leah Purnell, Tera Whaley, and Kymberly Hawkins--- and all parents who have contributed to enriching our students’ lives at Jepson through their volunteer efforts. Our student leaders, advised by teachers Christina Morace, Cynthia Coble, and Ryan Williams, are doing a great job keeping our spirits high.
In the coming weeks, please reach out to your child’s teachers if you have any questions. Ours doors are open and we look forward to assisting you.
We wish you the best.
Go Jags!

Athletics Information!
Congratulations to our talented Jaguar boys and girls soccer teams who demonstrated their skills and teamwork admirably this season. Coach Aaron Dickey praised our undefeated championship boys team for an outstanding season in which our defense did not allow any goals in regular play (only one penalty kick goal.)
Coaches Lisa Cusi and Mathew Baclig highlighted how each player contributed their best to the team’s efforts and had fun along the way. We are very fortunate to have caring and encouraging coaches who bring out the best in our young scholar-athletes. Thank you also to Chris Marino for his steady and consistent leadership of our Jaguar sports program.
For current 8th graders that will attend VHS:
