MLK DAY
There is no school on Monday, January 20th as we pause to honor the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
GULF OF MAINE RESEARCH INSTITUTE
The 5th graders spent a great day at GMRI (Gulf of Maine Research Institute) this Thursday. Not only did the class represent our community beautifully, they were able to have a hands-on learning experience off campus. Students explored scientific research in an interactive manner, while learning from actual scientists. They were challenged to identify plankton and other small creatures using microscopes, as well as to virtually dissect black sea bass. They even handled live lobsters! We are grateful to Bath Savings, BIW, and Reny's for sponsoring GMRI's LabVenture, which is why we were able to have this experience.
PTA K-5 FAMILY DANCE
STUDENT LEADERSHIP TEAM
The Student Leadership Team is hosting a talent show, featuring students in grades 4-8 on March 21st! Talent applications for individuals or groups are available from the office, and should be completed and submitted by February 11th.

Things to Talk About
- Happy New Year! Has your address changed since the start of school? Did you get a new phone number or email address? Please make sure that any changes to your home address or contact information are communicated with the school office. Parents can either call the school, or make the necessary changes in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal by CLICKING HERE. This important information is used for many things including, snow day notifications, scheduling school bus transportation, and student emergency contacts.
- Our Lost & Found is starting to grow! Remind your student to take a look to see if anything belonging to them has been turned in! Parents are also welcome to check when they stop in. The Lost & Found is located in the front entryway of the building. All unclaimed items will be donated over February vacation.
