Family Edition - Week of March 17th
We Are So Lucky!
Students and staff took time to write the things that they feel lucky to have. We hung all of the responses in a display in the main hallway.
Literary Analysis Presentations
It might be hard to see, but this is our 7th graders presenting their end of Marking Period Literary Analysis presentations of their 3 independent novels that they have read this marking period.
Just Keep Swimming
Meet Ember
Check it out! We have the opportunity for Ember from Paws with a Cause to visit our building regularly. Ember is just a puppy that is learning to be around people so that when she grows up she can have a job helping someone. Ember is living with Mrs. Churchill and her family and will occasionally visit the building with her trainer Camryn Churchill.
We know that students can benefit from the interaction with animals. Students may be able to pet and play with Ember when she is in the building. This helps Ember learn how to behave in different environments with different humans.
The students’ participation with Ember will be based on their comfort level. At no time will anyone be forced to interact with the dog.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
