Dear Parmenter Community,

Let's be honest, when the Parmenter Press comes out next Friday, it may not be the FIRST thing you read before twelve days off with your kids, so I'd like to point this out now to set the stage:

The time between the New Year and February vacation is an important stretch for students. With fewer interruptions, we can focus on routines and dive deeply into key learning. This period allows us to build momentum, assess progress, and set the foundation for success in the second half of the year.

March, April, May, and June are filled with MCAS Testing, holidays, end-of-year traditions and excitement, etc. Not to mention we'll be preparing for the massive shift into the 25-26 school year. So, let's stay in the moment, but we will keep an eye to the very important stretch of time we have coming up next...deal?!?

Our Character Education Council orchestrated this Winter Gear Drive and collected:

Gloves/Mittens: 16 pairs

Boots: 10 pairs

Handmade scarves: 15

Other Winter Gear: 4

...with your help! Thank you to everyone who donated to make this winter a bit warmer for someone in need!

Connect 4 Cancer is a club at FHS that raises funds and awareness for cancer. On December 14th, we are partnering with Jimmy Fund to put on a mini-golf event with an 18-hole mini-golf course, food, a raffle, face painting, and more! All of the proceeds from this will go to pediatric cancer research.
