I hope this newsletter finds you enjoying your Friday evening! We had an action packed week with the Book Fair and conferences. Thank you to all who attended conferences and traveled down to the book fair! Our conference attendance was 91% of families attended a conference for their student(s).

If your student still has their Coupon Book Envelope, these are due back by Monday, November 25th or your student's account will be charged $25. If you have sold coupon books and/or purchasing the sample book, all orders/payments are due back to the school on 11/25/24.

For the month of October, the 4th graders stayed in 1st place in our attendance contest! The three classes earned an extra recess to be enjoyed by all 4th graders. But watch out! The 5th graders are closing in on that first place title. Rise up to Wise Up!

Helpful Tips for Parents Setting Up a Powerschool Account:

1. Powerschool is a tool Byron teachers and administrators use to track student grades and attendance. Did you know parents can also create powerschool accounts to track their child’s grades and attendance?
2. If you do not already have a Parent Powerschool account, you’ll want to click ‘create account’. Once you have created your account, you can connect your child to your account using the confidential ID and temporary access password in the Powerschool Parent Access letter.
3. If you already have a parent powerschool account and you’d like to add additional children to your account, you can log into your current account and in ‘account preferences’, you can ‘add student’ using the confidential ID and temporary access password listed in the Powerschool Parent Access letter.
4. If you already have a Parent Powerschool account, but you don’t remember your password, you can click ‘forgot username or password’.
5. Within Powerschool, you will be able to set up notifications regarding your student's grades, assignments, and attendance.
