March Update

• Week of March 3 - Peer Helpers Kindness Campaign. See below for details.
• March 6 - Cookie Dough orders due!
• March 7 - 6th grade spring dance after school. Tickets will be sold March 3-March 7 during snack. $5 admission. Concessions will be sold. Pick up begins at 4:45 following our normal parent pickup procedures.
• March 12 - BCS Vaccination Clinic. Forms have already been sent home. Questions? Email Nurse JIll!
• March 21 - Pajama Fundraiser sponsored by Sydney Hodges, Miss Lake City’s Teen, for Clinic 8 at Children's Hospital. Donate $1 or more and enjoy pajamas!
• March 21 - KONA Ice day. Treats at $3 to $7.
• Saturday, April 5. West Blount Chamber is hosting a craft fair in the HMS gym. Check out the Chamber on social media for details.
• April 5 is the hard deadline to order a yearbook. The order form can be found here.

Spring means ACAP testing for all students at HMS. We will communicate the dates of whole group testing in our April newsletter. It is important that students are present on test days! Last year, we had our best testing attendance to date and I hope we beat that record this year!

Our Peer Helpers will spend all week spreading kindness all across the HMS campus. We have sweet token items for kids, encouraging words to share, and an overall emphasis on kindness, kind words, and encouragement planned for the campaign! Questions? Reach out to Mrs. Carter and Mrs. A. Hicks.
