Seeking Parent Volunteer for D&D
ASB is looking for a parent volunteer to expand D&D.
Your ASB hosts a weekly Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) game and they are looking to expand that offering by creating a second game strictly for elementary/middle school students. In order to do this they need a parent volunteer who would help run the game. Do you have an interest in D&D and free time on Tuesday afternoons? Please reach out to Kyle at kreynolds@ptschools.org if this sounds like fun to you.
Koyuki's Sub Contact Info - Welcome Tyler
Koyuki's absence will be longer than we originally anticipated. She is healing just fine, but has a revised timeline for her recovery. We do not yet know exactly when Koyuki will be ready to return to work, so we have a long term sub who will be filing in.
Tyler Smith will be taking on all of Koyuki's conferences and in person classes. He will begin conferencing with families March 15, so look for an email from him with your March conferencing time. He will begin teaching in person classes March 19, until then Chuck DiVincenzo will continue to support as a substitute. We are excited to welcome Tyler, please say hi when you see him around campus.

Love and Logic Parenting:
With humor and care, we show adults how to discipline kids without losing their love and respect.
We focus on helping children develop personal responsibility, self-control and good decision making skills.
Unlike some approaches we don’t use complicated reward or punishment systems only focused on short-term compliance.
Instead, we focus on nurturing long-term relationships and reinforcing good character.
Questions? contact our facilitator, Peter Braden pbraden@ptschools.org
OCEAN High School Student of the Week
Kael Beil is the OCEAN Student of the Week. Kael is a very thoughtful student who brings her best self to school each and every day. She asks great questions in class to further her understanding in history and science. Kael is kind to everyone, and she works really hard on school assignments. Kael will be performing in our school production of Midsummer Night's Dream, and she has also taken on a leadership role in our newly forming Kaleidoscope Club.

Volunteers Needed for Theater
Close the Fundraising Gap
Families, please help us close the gap of our fundraising goal for our March production of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Your students are doing an amazing job, working so hard, and we can’t wait to see the benefits of theater participation working in their lives!
If this type of experience is something you’d like to see more of at OCEAN, please share the word that we still need to raise some funds for it to be sustainable.
Feel free to donate online here (every little bit helps), share the link with family and friends, or drop a check off at the OCEAN office to save fees. We are so grateful!
