Legal School is a Christ-centered community committed to nurturing lifelong learners, leaders, and global citizens while instilling virtues in the lives of our students.

On Friday morning, we celebrated Thanksgiving mass at St. Émile Parish, where our grade 4 students received their bibles, which were blessed by Father Ambrose and presented by the CWL. Thanks to Ms. Doehring for preparing the readers from her Division Two Religion class.

Father Ambrose's message reminded us to practice gratitude daily and be thankful every day for God's unending love. We are grateful for his spiritual leadership and the support from the CWL for the supporting the cost of the bibles for our students.

This week, Mrs. Moylan will get the snack shack up, and it will be open on Tues & Thurs at lunch hour. We will post the weekly features in the Titans' Times every week, and students can bring the money to school on those days to purchase items from the Titans Snack Shack.

This week's specials are perogies & sausage for $2, cookie 25 cents each and ice tea 50 cents a cup.

Comparing ourselves to others is a normal part of life, but how do we make sure our children can admire things about others while still recognizing how special and unique they are?
We often hear statements like “He’s so much bigger than me”, “She’s way smarter than me,” or “She looks way better in that outfit than I would”...
Over time, comparison can become a second language for children.

How can we help? When you take a moment to point out your child's strengths or things they do well, you’re giving them a little mirror to see their own special spark.

Whenever you say, 'Hey, I noticed this about you,' you're helping them build a stronger sense of who they are. By taking this extra little step, the more they will see their own shine, and the less they'll look around and compare it to someone else's.

Classes for preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation will begin on Thursday, October 19, at 6:00 in the rectory. Next week, the candidates will be introduced to confirmation that God strengthens us for the life we were called at baptism by being baptized with water and anointed with oil. Please pray for the nine candidates who will be on this faith journey this year. Bishop Gary will be here on November 30 to celebrate this sacrament with us.

Bring on the Bookjoy! Book Fair Incoming!

Mark your calendars! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school!! From October 17-19, discover new and bestselling titles coming to our school. All purchases help get new books and educational resources into our library. The book fair will be open during the Parent Teacher Interviews both evenings.

Help us reach our goal of selling $1,500 worth of books! If we reach this goal, Miss Gamache will get slimed!

The next School Council Meeting. Any parent of children attending Legal School is welcome to come and attend the monthly meetings and learn more about what is happening at Legal School.
