St. Teresa Tidbits
August 5th, 2024
School begins August 23rd for K-8 students. Preschool begins September 3rd.
Welcome back!
We are so excited to see our students in just a few weeks! This year, our theme is gratitude, which we view as a virtue and a key component of our faith. By practicing gratitude, we can better appreciate our blessings and draw closer to God, focusing on the positive aspects of life.
I am thankful that we can continue to provide a Catholic education to our students. We are especially grateful to Lynn Franzen (MS), Julia Moran (Art), Vicky Harris (MS), Laura Eckstein (Religion & Interventionist), Sarah Schacherer (MS Music), and Ashley Moon (Preschool Paraeducator) for responding to God’s call and joining us at St. Teresa of Calcutta School. Additionally, South Winn has hired Ashley Welch (Special Education) to join our team as well.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to reach out. Your feedback and involvement are essential to our success. Thank you once again for choosing St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School.
With a grateful heart…
Kristin

St. Teresa Golf Tournament
Thank you to those that participated in our annual St. Teresa Golf Tournament. The funds raised will support student learning beyond the classroom through field trips and extracurricular activities throughout the school year. We aim to continue offering both fall and spring field trips, as well as bring back the Missoula Children’s Theater. The total estimated cost for all these events this school year is $14,767. The Depot will generously provide our school with a field trip grant of $4,050. Therefore, our fundraising goal for this event was $10,716.
We are very grateful to the couples that organized and assisted with this event. It was a great day! Thank you to those that have generously donated to this event. If you would still like to make a contribution, please put in the memo St. Teresa Golf.
