Scoliosis testing will be rescheduled for a new date. We will let you know as soon as this date has been determined!

Testing is for 8th grade boys and 7th grade girls ONLY.

Coach Hamilton will be hosting an informational meeting about the 8th grade summer trip to Washington, D.C. There are some adjustments to the trip so it is important that you attend if you have already signed your 8th grader up for the trip or if you are planning to do so.

Wednesday, February 2 at 5:30pm in the LCMS Library

Please have your 8th grader submit their completed course request for the 2022-23 school year through Xello by the morning of Tuesday, February 1. If you or your student need assistance, counselors will be available Monday evening, January 31, from 6-8pm in the Lubbock-Cooper High School commons. Please fill out the form using the link below to schedule a time with a counselor.

• School begins at 8:15 AM.
• First bell rings at 8:10 AM.
• Tardy bell rings at 8:15 AM.
• Any arrivals after 8:40 AM are counted as an absence for 1st period.
• Any early check out by parent before 3:35 PM will be counted as an absence for 8ht period.
• If your student is ill, please EMAIL in by 9:00 AM.
• After a student's seventh absence, a doctor’s note is required.

* Excused and Unexcused absences will count toward being able to exemption final exams for the Spring semester. S days do not count toward attendance when determining exemption criteria.

Please note, students will LOSE spring exam exemption status due to any of the following:

• The student has four or more tardies in the class the student wants to exempt
• The student has three or more absences in the class the student wants to exempt or one or more unexcused absence (U-U) in the class a student wants to exempt
