Titan Updates
Athlete of the Month for June
Athletes of the Month for June
Ruby M
Softball
Ruby has had an outstanding season as our centerfielder. She batted .486 and led the outfield in a tremendous season. She works hard on and off the field and takes time to get to know and positively influence all of her teammates.
Jerry L
Outdoor Track and Field
Jerry L exemplifies the essence of selflessness and team spirit. Despite contending with injuries this season, Jerry delivered an exceptional performance at Sectionals, clinching victory in the 800M run and pivotal points towards his team's triumphant third consecutive Sectional Title. As the State Qualifier meet approached, Jerry faced a crucial decision: pursue his individual aspirations in the 800m race or prioritize team success. Without hesitation, Jerry chose the latter, foregoing his personal pursuit to bolster the 4x800 team's chances of securing a coveted spot at the state meet. His decision proved instrumental as the team clocked a season-best time, marking the second-fastest performance in the school's history and earning them a consecutive trip to the state meet in the 4x800 relay.

The Webster Thomas Shakespeare's Apprentices held their annual Shakespeare Monologue competition on June 6. Students, parents, and staff came out to support students who recited some of their favorite Shakespearean monologues in front of four celebrity judges (Mr. Urman, Mr. Dykstra, Mrs. Byrne, and the 2020 Regional winner Haley Warren)! Dominick, Abigail, and Brook each broke legs and won awesome prizes. Congratulations to these Elizabethan Titans!
