Attention Pre-K Families: Important Flu Shot Update
As we approach the colder weather, we’d like to remind all Pre-K families that flu shot records are due by December 23rd.
Please be sure to submit your child’s flu shot record to us before this date. After December 23rd, your child will not be able to attend school until we receive proof of the vaccination and Nurse Joy has cleared them to return. We encourage you to hand in the proof of vaccination early to avoid any unnecessary absences.
Guidelines for Sick Days
As the colder weather sets in and illnesses increase, we ask that you carefully consider whether your child is well enough to attend school. Please refer to the chart below to help guide your decision when your child isn’t feeling their best:
- If your child has a fever, they should stay home until they are fever-free for 24 hours without medication.
- Vomiting or diarrhea: Your child should remain home for at least 24 hours after the last episode.
Your child's health and well-being are our top priority, and we want to ensure everyone stays safe and healthy during the cold and flu season.
Thank you for your attention and cooperation!

Awesome Acts
*Congratulations to Emiliyah for being our student of the week! Emiliyah you are an awesome member of our class- always willing to help others and to do your very best work. You were so determined during the Spelling Bee and we were all so proud of you!
*Victoria was the first student packed up and ready for home. She was sitting quietly and nicely waiting to be called to line up and was setting a great example
*It's Victoria's special week! We are looking forward to celebrating her and seeing all the ways that she demonstrates C.A.R.D.!
*Ayden recognized some students having trouble to complete a task he quietly and discreetly assisted them without interfering with the class flow and returned to his spot in line.
*During indoor recess Thiago took it upon himself to assist me with picking up the padding that fell off the basketball hoop. Despite the padding deciding to keep falling down Thiago kept working until he was able to secure it. This act showed the examples of caring and determination. Thank you Tiago for taking the time to help during recess and show the core values of caring and determination.
