winter sports registration 2024
SMS Winter 2 Sports Registration is Open!
January 2, 2025
Scarborough Middle School Athletic Families,
Registration for Winter 2 sports (Indoor Track, Wrestling, Swimming) 2025 season at the Middle School is now open and accepting registrations through FamilyID. The registration form may be found on the homepage at Scarboroughredstorm.org, at FamilyID.com or by clicking here and must be completed by a Parent/Guardian. It is important that you make sure you register your child as soon as possible so that the department has sufficient time to look over all registrations prior to the start of the season. Registering your child late may hinder their ability to participate on the first day and may result in not getting further communication regarding your child's sport(s). Registration through FamilyID and paying the activity fee are separate items. Once you complete the registration on FamilyID you will have the ability to be brought to the system to pay the fee (please read paragraph below).
Sports Start Dates:
Winter 2
Indoor Track (7th & 8th grade) - Monday, February 3, 2025
Wrestling (7th & 8th grade) - Monday, February 3, 2025
Swimming (7th & 8th grade) - Monday, February 24, 2025
*Schedule for sports games and practices, when activated, may be found here ⇢ these schedules can always be found at this link. Please know that schedules (as of January 2) are not completed.
Activity Fees are per sport per student participant and must be paid through Revtrak at https://scarborough.revtrak.net/ or by clicking here. It is important to note that payment of activity fees are not due at the time of registering your child on FamilyID. Registrations through FamilyID may be submitted without submitting payment.
In order for a student to be eligible on the first day of practices/tryouts they must have a physical exam dated within 2 years (730 days) from the end of the sports season and students must also have met the academic eligibility standards as outlined in the Student-Athlete Guidelines listed within the FamilyID registration form as well as on the athletics webpage.
Student-athletes and their guardians who have previously registered at the high school or at the middle school for athletics/activities using FamilyID may see the current physical exam date the school has on file, from the last time their child(s) participated in athletics, by following these steps (click here). You may upload a copy of your student's physical exam under the "Physician" section of the registration form, fax a copy or bring in a hard copy to the Athletics/Activities office. Any student without a valid physical exam will be notified via email through FamilyID prior to the start of the sports season.
**IMPORTANT: If you are a returning user to familyID and registering a student that has registered using the FamilyID system previously, you should only need to select the applicable students name from the drop-down menu and then re-enter any new information that is in need of updating. Entering a student as a new participant and not selecting their name from the drop-down could result in the loss of important information that the department has stored in the system for your child.
By clicking any of the below FAQs you will be taken to step by step instructions on how to perform the specific task within the FamilyID system.
Sincerely,
Department of Athletics & Activities Staff
