Middle School students just held their first ever Student Council elections. Students were given the opportunity to be a representative of their class. Each candidate wrote and presented a speech to their classmates explaining why they would be a good leader for their class. Representatives will be the voice of their classmates to help organize activities, assemblies, work in the school store, and make sure the interests of the students are taken into consideration. We are excited to offer this leadership opportunity to our Middle School students.

The Spanish 2 students wrote their own stories in Spanish, and then got to read them to some 6th grade students!

Part of our bond work that has continued as school was in session has been our MS gym roof. Unfortunately, during the process of replacing the MS gym, the roof leaked, causing the MS gym floor to need to be replaced. After working with insurance companies, we have received the funds via insurance to cover the costs for replacement. The floor is in the process of being replaced and the gym is being painted to match the color concept of the HS gym. This work should be completed by the end of Christmas Break.

As the school year continues, we will continue to take care of punch list items and look forward to planning one more summer of bond work. Thank you staff, students, and community for your continued support and your patience during the construction process.
