It's a Little ZOOEY at St. Mary's!🎃
MicroSociety Learning!🌎
Our Saints brought their classroom lessons to life by diving into citizenship, government, and the electoral process. Brave student candidates, nominated by their peers, ran campaigns for positions on the town council and even for mayor! Through campaign strategies and community engagement, these future leaders learned to make their voices heard. The week concluded with speeches and voting on Friday, where students experienced firsthand the power of their votes. Congratulations to all the candidates, including those who have been elected to council for the year, and to the citizens who voted!
STEAM SPOOKTACULAR! 🧫
Our virtue of the week is Creativity, and Halloween was the perfect opportunity for our Saints to showcase it! From tackling exciting challenges in our STEAM Spooktacular to enjoying a costume parade and class parties, the school was filled with fun, faith, and learning all day long!
We are very grateful to the many parent, community and parish volunteers who blessed us with their time today. Your efforts made our Spooktakular run seamlessly, and helped to build our school community to be even stronger.
Saints Shout Out!🎉
St. Mary's would like to give a HUGE shout out to all of the parent, community and parish volunteers who volunteered for our STEAM Spooktacular this week! We had 13 amazing volunteers who guided students through various STEAM stations, enhancing the learning and making it fun too!
We are grateful for all of the support we receive for our students!
