Please check your email for an email from Alma to register your student. If you can't locate the email, please call the office.

As the District moves to a new registration portal (Alma) for the 2024-2025 school year, ALL families (New and Returning) will be required to prove residency. Previous documents submitted are not able to be transferred to Alma.

Please reference the attached proof of residency documentation to start compiling the necessary documents.

2024-2025 School Fees will be posted to your student(s) after July 1, 2024 Once the fee is

posted, you will receive an email from My School Bucks. Fees are due September 1, 2024.

My School Bucks Instructions

Dear Erickson Families,

PLEASE Register your child(ren) for the 2024-2025 school year NOW! We make grade level staffing decisions based on registration. Right now only 301 students are registered. If you do not plan on returning to Erickson for the 24-25 school year, please let the office know as soon as you know. Thank you!

MAP Reports will be going home today or tomorrow along with the school supply list. Check backpacks!

Progress Reports will be available in OTUS on Wednesday, June 5th. We will also email a copy of the report card. All families will also receive an email letter with your child(ren)'s 2023-2024 attendance record.

BUS TRANSPORTATION for the 2024-2025 School Year: Families are automatically routed on a bus if you live 1.5 miles or further from the school . If you would like to DECLINE BUS TRANSPORTATION, please click on this DECLINE BUS FORM so your child(ren) are not routed on the bus for the 24-25 school year (you would then be dropping them off/picking them up daily).

School Supply Lists for 2024-2025 or order the School Supply Tool Box offered by the PTO (see flyer below).

Tomorrow is Field Day, Friday, May 31st. The PTO will provide a hot dog to all full day students. If a rain date is called, the rescheduled date is Monday, June 3. Students will still have the hotdog on May 31st. A snack, Goldfish, and popsicles (Popsicle Brand: Bomb Pops or similiar to this type) will be provided for each student on Field Day. Parents should still pack additional lunch items to ensure students are nourished after a morning of playing outside. Parents with concerns about food allergies should have their children bring their own lunch and snack. Please remember to pack:

• A refillable water bottle
• Sunblock, hat/visor

Families are welcome to stop by during the outside events on Field Day between 9:00-11:40 and 1:00-3:00. If you do decide to stop by, you will need to have an ID BADGE guest pass to be on school grounds. Click here to have a pre-printed ID BADGE ready for you on Field Day. Please stop by the school Lobby to pick up your badge. You will need your driver's license if you have never been scanned into our system before. This is for safety and to ensure all visitors are approved to be on school grounds.

If you need to report an absence, please call the school 630-529- 2223 or email the teacher and the attendance line: erattendance@sd13.org. If you need to report a change in dismissal for your child and it is after 2:00pm, please call the school.

You still can order a yearbook, you will need to pay for shipping, and it will be delivered to your home.

School Hours:

Grades 1st-5th: 8:40-3:30

Kindergarten AM: 8:40-11:30

Kindergarten PM: 12:40-3:30

Preschool AM: 8:50-11:20

Preschool PM: 12:50-3:20

Student Arrival:

Kindergarten-5 grade students can begin arriving at 8:25. Students should gather in the front of the building. Doors open at 8:30. Students should arrive by 8:40

Lunch Hours:

1st, 2nd & 3rd Grade Lunch: 12:00-12:25

4th-5th Grade Lunch: 12:25-12:50

Dropping off lunches from restaurants (ie- McDonald's, Wendy's, Panera, etc.) as well as using food delivery services to drop off food (ie -GrubHub, Door Dash) is not allowed. Students should bring their lunch in the morning to school each day. Safety is our number one priority and we would like to limit visitors.
