E-cycle Drive is cancelled
We regret to inform you that we are suspending our spring and fall e-cycle drives until further notice for several reasons. Firstly, the MERF (Material Recovery Facility (Recycling Center) has commenced offering free electronic recycling events in both seasons. Secondly, there has been a notable increase in recycling costs. Lastly, sourcing volunteer assistance for Saturdays has become increasingly challenging. Dylan Koss and I extend our heartfelt appreciation to the community for their unwavering support of our e-cycle drives over the past 14 years.
Thank you, Cindy Solinsky

Please meet teacher Brett Seubert!
My name is Brett Seubert and I am a 9th grade Physical Science teacher at Ben Franklin. This is my second year teaching in this position, as I previously taught Chemistry, Biology, Meteorology, and Physical Science at Merrill High School.
I grew up in Merrill, WI and graduated from UW Stevens Point with a Natural Science degree and a minor in Earth Science. During this time, I planned to teach at the junior high or high school level, making working at Ben Franklin a perfect fit!
Beyond teaching, I enjoy coaching JV2 baseball, golfing, hunting, fishing, and just about anything outdoors! My students know I also enjoy cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers during football season.
Teaching Physical Science at Ben Franklin has been an extremely rewarding experience. Being able to build healthy relationships with students and see their creativity and passion for scientific concepts makes me look forward to being here each day!
