Staff Appreciation Week
It's time to plan for Staff Appreciation Week coming up May 6-10th. Please check out the Sign Up Genius and shower our hard working staff with a taco lunch and gift cards -- the PTO will be purchasing and planning other fun treats throughout the week, check it out in the sign up!
Middle School Parent Panel
Each middle school will host parents/guardians and 5th-grade students on Monday, April 22nd from 6-7 pm. Parents and students should attend the presentation at the middle school they are expected to attend. This will allow us to be more specific in the topics we cover and allow our families to get to know our admin teams and our personal buildings.

Crystal Lake Police Department Safety Presentations
We are excited to announce a new collaboration with the Crystal Lake Police Department. Starting April 15th, Crystal Lake Community Resource Officer Kristiana Stolzman will be visiting each District 47 school to deliver important safety presentations. These age-appropriate presentations will address crucial topics such as automobile and bike safety, home safety practices including secure gun storage, and community safety measures including abduction awareness. Scheduled between April 15th and May 3rd, these assemblies aim to equip students with essential knowledge and skills to navigate potential risks responsibly and were created based on the instructional mandates from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and are mandatory with no option for opting out, as per state requirements. Presentations have been tailored to ensure each grade receives content suitable for their age group.
Multicultural Literacy Night
On April 10th, BPAC is hosting a Multicultural Literacy Night to honor and celebrate the diversity in our school district. Multicultural Literacy Night is an opportunity for our multilingual students, families, faculty, and staff to experience many diverse countries, cultures, and traditions through the lens of literacy. We are thrilled to have children's author, Evelyn Sanchez-Toledo, presenting at this event! We are looking forward to seeing you there!
