Message From Student Services
This is the monthly reminder that students are required to be in uniform at all times when in the school building. We realize the weather is getting warmer but students should have the short sleeve blue banded polo school shirt. Students are also required to wear black pants and black sneakers. Crocs, slides, Uggs, and slippers are not permitted in the building because they are a safety issue. Sneakers are the only acceptable footwear that can be worn. Hats, hoods, scarves, ninja masks or headwear of any kind are also not permitted. Please remind your child of our dress code. Your help is greatly appreciated.

21st Century AfterSchool Program
The month of April was good for PETCHS. We had our STEAM Fest on April 4th. Steam Fest was a celebration of our students at Philadelphia E&T Charter High School. It was a display of student work, live art participation and student demonstrations. This was the first time STEAM Fest was held. It was well done and led by Mr. Hill, Mrs. Petro and Ms. Spross.
On April 9th, we had our staff vs students game at the Wells Fargo Center. The staff won the game and we had over 40 students attend the trip and we had students enjoy the 76ers game later that night as they won against the Detroit Pistons
We ended our Credit Recovery program on April 25th. We currently have over 100 students who have completed our Credit Recovery program. We have extended our credit recovery program from May 2nd until May 9th.
Some of our 21CCLC programs are doing really well. I want to give shout outs to soccer club, culinary club, and bowling club who have had over 10 plus students every session. We restarted the volleyball club in April with sessions held at E.O.M.
We are planning to have our staff vs students soccer game and 21CCLC Finale in June. More details will follow in the next newsletter.
We are enrolling for our summer camp for current 9th graders. The link to register is at https://bit.ly/PETSUMMER24
