HOMECOMING DANCE INFO!
RRHS HOMECOMING DANCE:
🎉 Get ready for A Knight in New Orleans! 🎉
The River Ridge Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, October 5th from 6pm – 9pm and you don't want to miss it! Join us for a night of fun and celebration in the River Ridge cafeteria. Tickets are CURRENTLY $25 on gofan.co. Prices at the door will be $30
Please see below for the parking and drop off plan:
Please email Mr. Ryan.Strasser@cherokeek12.net with questions.
"Parking Plan:
Please note that ALL parking and drop off will happen in the back of the school. See below for details:
Attendees who are driving-
Please park in the student lot in the spots closest to the student entrance. There will be a teacher to guide you to the right section. The roundabout at the front of the school will be CLOSED, so make sure to go through the stadium entrance. From there, you will walk around the exterior of the cafeteria to the bus lanes entrance and have your ticket checked at the door.
Attendees who are being dropped off-
Drop-off will take place in the bus lanes by the cafeteria entrance. Tickets will be checked at the door. Please do not park in the bus lanes or at the sidewalk for an extended period of time. That section can get backed up quickly and we want to make sure there is a smooth entrance and exit. The dance ends at 9, so please make sure your ride is prompt. Clean up will happen soon after that time, so students will need to be out of the area. Again, because the bus lanes can get backed up, make sure your ride/your student is available to make pick-up a smooth process.
Ticket Purchase/Attendees:
IF YOU HAVE NOT PURCHASED YOUR TICKET, BUT PLAN TO BUY ONE AT THE DOOR, NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED. Tickets will be $30, so make sure there is a plan to pay digitally.
If you are bringing a guest from a different school, you must have completed AND returned the guest form to room 2101. Guests will be turned away at the door if we do not have a completed form on file.
Guest forms can be found in the FRONT OFFICE OR ROOM 2101.
We look forward to seeing you there!"

Students - you are doing an amazing job - Keep up the great work. Teachers are thrilled with the increased student engagement!
As described in the many communications from Mr. Miller as well as the Board Briefs sent by Barbara Jacoby, among the changes to the Code of Conduct are consistent standards for appropriate student attire and appropriate student use of cell phones and other personal digital smart devices in schools, classrooms, and on the school bus. More specifics were shared in that communication which is available here, It may also be found here in 2024-2025 Student Code of Conduct or here - Handbook.
