Our school community gathered on Friday for a special Mass to honor and thank our veterans for their service and sacrifices. Students, teachers, and families joined together in a celebration that included prayers for our veterans. After Mass, veterans and their families were invited to a reception hosted by student council members as well as Miss Hayward and Miss Schwettman. The veterans shared stories and were interviewed by the student council members, enjoyed refreshments, and connected with the Cardinal Pacelli community. This meaningful event reminded us of the courage and dedication of those who have served.

I am still looking for a recess monitor. If you or someone you know is interested in the position, the hours are from 10:45-12:30 Monday through Friday. This would be a great job for a grandparent, college student, or someone wanting to get out of the house for a few hours and earn some extra money. I can be reached at martin_j@cardinalpacelli.org.

For many years, Christ the King partnered with the Walnut Hills Soup Kitchen in supplying roasted turkeys for the Thanksgiving meal served at that location on Gilbert Avenue. That location is now closed. Due to new changes with this organization, we have decided to pause our Turkey Roasting program for 2024. Hopefully, we will find a new recipient/location and bring this rewarding program back in 2025. Thank you to all who have volunteered over the past years to make it a huge success.

• Show: Thursday, February 27, 2025 (12:45pm for school show, 7pm for general public)
  
• Fee: $100/participant, includes 2 complimentary show tickets
  
• Fees are due BEFORE auditions via Performing Arts Inc website at least 24 hours in advance of auditions, please do NOT make a payment sooner than two weeks before the auditions.
