MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
We definitely embraced the wonderful rhythm of our first five-day school week!! The week started on a positive note after the BROWNS VICTORY earned students extra time during recess.
Chamber of Commerce Luncheon
This past Wednesday, Chardon High School hosted a State of the Schools luncheon for the Chardon Chamber of Commerce. Members were invited to attend a gallery walk of school programming to try and build school, community/business partnerships. I was VERY impressed with our students and their professional interactions throughout the luncheon.
Thomas Edison Award
For the second year in a row, CMS was awarded The Governor's Thomas Edison Awards for Excellence in STEM Education and Student Research. I am very proud of ALL of our science teachers, the department chair Mr. Hilston, and our junior scientists for their participation in our annual science fair.
AHLI
Students in grades 5/6 can still fill out the application below or locate the "assignment" in their grade level Google Classroom if they are interested in AHLI.
With the weekend around the corner, we hope you and your family take the time to relax, recharge, and create memorable moments together.
-Mr. Tomco

Lost and NEEDS to be FOUND
As the school year is well underway, I wanted to take a moment to remind you about our school's lost and NEEDS to be found area. It's a place where forgotten treasures often end up, waiting to be reclaimed by their rightful owners.
We understand that in the hustle and bustle of the school day, primarily RECESS, it's easy for items to be misplaced or accidentally left behind. That's why we encourage you to remind your child to check our lost and found area regularly.
Lost and Found is located in the CAFETERIA and it's currently overflowing with various items such as clothing, lunchboxes, water bottles, SHOES, and more. Items that are not claimed will be donated to a local charity.
