Students had the chance to rotate among presenters, each offering a unique glimpse into the realm of science, technology, architecture, engineering, and mathematics. Students engaged in interactive sessions including media, engineering, the medical field, building science, natural sciences, drones, and health and wellness. This hands-on, immersive journey not only broadened their horizons but also ignited sparks of curiosity, planting the seeds for future STEM leaders. Together, we're nurturing the innovators of tomorrow!

Students were required to work in collaborative groups to design and build the tallest, sturdiest, and most creative pumpkin tower using candy pumpkins and toothpicks. Mrs. Christopher explained, "My favorite parts of the activity were seeing students working through the Engineering Design Process together as teams, coming up with successful plans, and reflecting on ways to improve their structures."

Carla and her husband Mark have four children. They are all Hewitt-Trussville graduates! Mrs. Dillard cherishes quality time with her family and friends, beach vacations, leisurely walks, and whipping up delicious dishes in the kitchen. These are the moments that fill her heart with joy and gratitude!
When asked what her favorite thing about teaching at Paine Elementary is, she stated that "every day at Paine is a day filled with love for my amazing littles, and I'm beyond grateful to be a part of a KCrew with friends who make this journey even more special."
Magnolia Choir Students Participate in AMEA Elementary Honors Choir Event
Select members of elementary choirs from all over Alabama, under the direction of Dr. Emily Burch, participated in a day of learning and preparing for a night concert. Several fifth-grade choir students, led by Magnolia Elementary music teacher Mr. Danny Moore, took part in the Alabama Music Educators Association (AMEA) Elementary Honors Choir event. According to Mr. Moore, "This was an excellent opportunity where Magnolia student vocalists collaborated with other student vocalists from across the state and received guidance on their vocal craft."
Come join us as we share our vision for Huskies Together on November 6th, 6:30pm at the Trussville Civic Center. Light refreshments will be served.
Pumpkins and Pizza
