Hello!

My name is Kimiyo (Kim E Yo), and I am excited to be a Paraeducator supporting multilingual students. My goal is to help students navigate their learning experience by providing academic and language support, ensuring they feel confident and included in the classroom. I strive to create a welcoming environment where students can grow in their language skills while staying engaged with their coursework. I look forward to working with students, families, and staff to support student success!

Hello everyone!

This is my 2nd year here with Federal Way Public Schools, but I've been teaching in and coordinating Multilingual Programs and scholars for many, many years in K-12 and at the college level. My passion is supporting and watching people grow and work their way through every day struggles with culture, language, school and every day life. I have had my share! I was in the U.S. Peace Corps in both Morocco and Thailand, so I understand becoming proficient in other languages: Arabic and Thai for me! I get it!
